Mallori Mangus-Hayden, M.A., LPC, Owner

I tend to view the counseling process as something like opening a treasure chest filled with tidbits that we learn about ourselves to become stronger and navigate our way through our lives better.

I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor for seventeen years now and have been in the mental health field for over twenty years. In that time, I have worked with a myriad of issues from depression to couples issues to end-of-life issues and much more.

I have worked in both mental health agencies and in private practice. My passion is for helping people. I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the key elements in great therapy and the better I get to know you and you me, the more effective I can be in helping you to uncover your own answers. So please reach out and take this journey with me, and together we will work in your best interest to help you to achieve the goals you have set for yourself as you begin your own brand new start.

I view the counseling process as a collaborative journey in which we
can work together to find the answers that you are looking for. I have
a passion for supporting the mental health needs of children,
adolescents, adults, and families. I am currently in the process of
completing my education and am approaching licensure as a Professional
Counselor. I am excited to be beginning my career here at A Brand New
Start Counseling. I have professional experience as an elementary and
preschool teacher, as well as training in early childhood education
and child development. I believe that therapeutic relationships rooted
in trust and respect are a key factor in counseling. I am looking
forward to getting to know you as we begin your journey with a brand
new start.
